Robert Swinburne AIA, - Architect

In 1993, I received a professional degree in architecture from Roger Williams University. Previously, I spent time working for civil engineering, architecture and landscape architecture firms and a year in art school. After graduation, I worked for various architecture firms to complete my internship and spent several years as a carpenter / designer for a Brattleboro area building firm. In 2000, demand for my design services grew into a full time business.

My work has ranged from historic styles to low budget modern to high budget "traditional." I enjoy helping people though their own design process whether simply adding a dormer or mudroom or creating a million dollar dream home from start to finish. What gets built is the result of this collaboration. I bring to the table the experience of many previous design collaborations, construction experience, familiarity with the ever growing field of "green design" and an ability to distill and simplify the myriad possibilities inherent in all projects to meet aesthetic, economic and environmentally responsible goals.
