This house will have it all. Low budget, super green, low embodied energy materials, low heat loss fiberglass windows, structural insulated panel (SIP) shell, sleeping porch, etc. in a very flexible, comfortable plan that facilitates indoor/outdoor living. The design is very site and client driven in terms of responding to the local site and local environment as well as being an easy house to grow old in. We are working toward not only an Energy Star rating but LEED as well. Several other builders will be watching with interest and an eye towards spec housing.
