A new super efficient home on an old site. The new home takes up less of the site leaving more room for gardens and outside play. We designed lots of porches for indoor/outdoor living. The house evokes a midwestern prairie style and is built using double wall super-insulation techniques. Heat is provided by a wood Tarm boiler with an oil boiler only for backup and solar hot water on the roof. This is a large family and friends type house, a house to be passed down through many generations.
